Shibatora is a Japan drama about a childish-looked policeman, named Shibata Taketora. Shibatora always wants to be a detective like his deceased father. One time, Shibata is required to be a detective in safety division. While he and his friends, Fujiki Kojiro and Hakuto Shinsuke, there is a girl stealing in their store, Sabbath Sabbath. But, Shibata can’t chase her.
On the first day, Shibata is come late to the office. He meets many new persons at there. The director of safety division is Chiba Sakura. Then, Chiba asks Shibatora to do an illegal job. Shibatora need to be a new member of a gang, Helter Skelter, to find the girl, Hosho Mizuki (as requested from a client and also who is stealing in the store), and find a proof of prostitution.
Other case, he has to be a high school student to enter the school which is suspected to have criminal student. This criminal student calls his self “Onigami”. The Onigami sends a message to some students and orders them to bully an adult by threatening to show their secret to public.
The biggest case that Shibata has is related with Ochiai Takeo. Ochiai used to be Shibata’s friend, because they have same conditions. One day, Shibata met a kind detective and he became very close with that detective. Then, Ochiai shot and killed that detective. Shibata was very desperate when he knew that the detective was her father. Then, Ochiai also killed Chiba’s little sister, and also she is Kojiro’s girlfriend. That’s why, Shibata, Chiba, and Kojiro can’t forgive Ochiai who doesn’t feel any guilty.
The problem start since Ochiai has finished his jail limit and suddenly disappears from police’s supervision. After that, there are some cases that are backed up from Ochiai. Shibata, Chiba, and Kojiro have to work hard to find and chase him.
“I do hate you. I hate you as much as Kojiro-san and the Director do. Most likely, that feeling will never disappear. But, more than that, I wanted to answer to my father who protected me. Nothing is made from hatred. That’s why I told myself to believe in people, whatever the case may be. Just like my father who was always on my side.”
